Public Transit Ridership (Winnipeg)

This Map shows Public Transit Ridership above and below the average for the city as a whole. Areas between White and Blue represent higher than average ridership and are thus targets for implementation of routes after a proposed system overhaul to improve cost efficiency, system usability, and frequencies in high-demand areas (such as was done in Omaha in 2015). Orange areas may or may not receive service depending on both densities, area plans, and budgetary concerns. Red areas do not require service, as they do not currently support ridership levels that would warrant service (mostly suburban areas). This map is to be used in conjunction with transit-supporting density maps in determining route alignments.
