Median Commute Duration

This map shows the median commute duration for all people commuting to work in each area, irrespective on mode choice. Median commute durations for Canada's largest cities are Vancouver 21m, Calgary: 25m, Montreal: 30m, Toronto: 30m. Note that the commute duration shows little correlation with 'congestion indices' that typically are based on 'delay' of drivers that use navigational apps at peak traffic times in relation to low traffic times.
