Metro Vancouver Age Group Location Quotient

This map is inspired by a tweet from Steve Tornes who mapped location quotients for the 20 to 39 year old age group on the North Shore. This map extends that to 20 year age groups for all of Metro Vancouver. For each age group, it shows the share of the population in that age group relative to the overall share of that age group in Metro Metro Vancouver. Regions where the share is half that of Metro Vancouver are coloured red, those between half and about 10% below Metro Vancouver are orange, ares within +/- 10% are white. Areas with shares 10% above the Metro Vancouver shares are light purple and those with shares at least twice that of Metro Vancouver are dark purple.
