Generations

This map shows the size of each of the generations in the 2016 census. It colours each regions by the share of the population in the selected generation in 2016: Generation Z: Born 1996 and later, under 20 years old in 2016 Millennials: Born 1981 to 1996, so 20 to 34 years old in 2016 Generation X: Born 1965 to 1980, so 35 to 50 years old in 2016 Boomer: Born 1946 to 1964, so 51 to 69 years old in 2016 Pan, zoom, use the search bar or the overview map to explore any area in Canada that interests you.
