Ukrainian Origin

This map shows the proportion of the population with Ukrainian ethnic origin. In the 2016 census 3.9% of Canadians listed Ukrainian as ethnic origin. At the provincial level Manitoba had 14.5% of it's population with ethnic origin in the Ukraine, followed by Saskatchewan at 13.4% and Alberta at 9.3%. People of Ukrainian origin settled along a band reaching from southeast Manitoba through Saskatoon in Saskatchewan and Edmonton in Alberta.
