Top vs bottom adjusted income decile
This map shows how many more people there are in the top adjusted after-tax family income decile compared to people in the bottom adjusted family income decile (on a log scale). A value of 1 ( green ) means that there are twice as many in the top income decile than in the bottom decile, a value of -1 ( purple ) means that there are twice as many in the bottom decile than in the top decile. Compare this to the related map on the ratio of the 90th percentile to the 10th percentile adjusted after-tax household income.
