This map colours each region by the share of the population of the selected visible minority group. We have augmented the StatCan definitions of visible minority groups to also break out people of Indigenous identity. Brown areas show a low concentration of people of the selected visible minority group, green areas show a high concentration. Use the buttons up top to select different visible minority groups, and use the inset map, geolocation button, search bar or pan and zoom to explore different parts of Canada.
