Active Transportation to Work

This map show the mode share of walk and bike to work. Use the search bar, geolocation button, the overview map or zoom and pan around to explore other regions in Canada. Also compare this to the bike to work map and the walk or bike to work map, and transit to work map. We observe that active transportation mode share correlates strongly with the percentage of tenant households in each respective region. We also see that areas with lower income tend to have higher active transportation use, but this correlation is generally not as strong.
