Caribbean Origin People in Canada

Caribbean People as a percent of the population of Canada This map includes Guyanese Canadians, who despite their location in South America, are culturally Caribbean. Caribbean people in Canada may be of any ethnicity. For example, Trinidadian and Guyanese Canadians are largely of Indian origins, while Jamaican and Haitian Canadians are largely of African origins. There are three Canadian cities where Caribbean people make up more than 10% of the total population. These are the Toronto suburbs of Ajax, Pickering and Brampton. Neighbourhoods with heavy concentrations of Caribbean people also exist in Toronto, Montreal, Mississauga, Terrebonne, Ajax and Whitby.
