Change in Non-Primary Residence

This map shows the difference between the percentage of dwellings that are not used as primary residence, ("not occupied by usual residents") between the 2011 and 2016 censuses. That includes dwellings that are unoccupied, or occupied temporarily be a person with primary residence elsewhere in Canada or abroad. Purple areas saw a rise in the percentage of dwellings not used as primary residence, green areas saw a drop. Also consider the map of total change in non-primary residence dwellings.
